The second edition of the EtiqueNews Awards organized by the only publishing house specialized in the label sector, EtiqueNews, can now be confirmed as the best in Spain, far from other initiatives carried out in the past.

The participation of 26 approved university training centers, between public and private, the more than 300 registrations received, belonging to 29 Spanish provinces, have consolidated this competition of graphic design of wine labels for undergraduate and master students in the most important held In our country.

This achievement has been possible thanks to the support of the participating centers and the sponsors of the first edition, who in their entirety have repeated their participation in the second, and in which excellent results were obtained.

In the second edition, in general terms, it has been possible to see how the average quality of participation has risen and the already high involvement of the centers is increasing. But there has also been a meticulous improvement in all the processes surrounding the Contest in the pursuit of excellence that it has pursued since it began.

The jury that has evaluated the best works of the 2019 Contest, has been made up of top-level professionals from the label industry: Miguel Sanz, General Director of the Regulatory Council of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin; Roberto Sanz, director of communication and strategy of Bodegas Familiares Matarromera; Xavier Masdevall, country manager of UPM Raflatac (Spain); Eva Rodrigo, Marketing Director of Hp Indigo; Ángel Pérez, Marketing Director of Heidelberg-Gallus; Irene Blanco, project director and designer of SerieNemo; Irene Gavalda, director and designer of Estudio Made by Us; Alberto Torroba, CEO of Grupo Argraf; Juan Macho, Marketing Director of Macho Tags and Joan Armadans, General Director of Vidal & Armadans.

The awards ceremony will be held on May 9, at 12:45 pm, at the Escuela Superior de Arte del Principado de Asturias, Esapa.
