The 3rd Edition of the 2020 EtiquetaNews Awards has once again easily exceeded the participation of previous editions, which consolidates it as the best in Europe for graphic design students.
On this occasion, the participation of 2019 has increased by more than 34%, with 410 validated applications. But it is that the number of participating university and training centers is already 34, which represents a growth of 41% compared to the last edition. This large turnout represents that 82% of the national territory have participated in the EtiquetaNews Contest. However, there is no precedent for a Graphic Contest of this type in Europe, which has such significant quantitative and qualitative support.
A jury of experts made up of prominent personalities from the label industry and the world of graphic design has evaluated the 50 finalist labels. The Contest has also considerably increased the amount of its prizes and in each edition the excellence that surrounds it since its inception is more appreciated.
The EtiqueNews Awards are an annual initiative of EtiqueNews, the leading medium of the label industry in Spain, and have the support of prominent sponsors of the sector specialized in wine labeling such as: Biolid, Eadec, Grupo Argraf, Grupo Macho , Germark, Z Graphics, UPM Raflatac and Heildelberg-Gallus. Its objective is to detect and promote new talent in graphic design in order to project it to the label industry.
